Nancy's lengthy public record

If you clicked on this post because the title led you to think you'd find some juicy tidbits or gossip about Nancy Mangilo-Bittner, you won't. In fact, there are no public docket sheets to pull on her, she's an upstanding member of our community. There are however, many public records for Nancy, much of which details her commitment to the City of Meadville.


(Call this clickbait if you will, but the premise of gossip sells readers. Promise this is worth it, just keep reading.)

So, what makes Nancy a difference maker? Per the 2018 Meadville Tribune article;


But, it doesn't stop there.

Keep in mind, this was an article from 2018. She not only helped revive the Jimmy Moore Christmas Party, but she continues to be a lead role in continuing the program. This is evidence by an article from the Tribune in 2020, the year everyone stayed home, and many events were canceled. One thing that wasn't canceled, was Nancy's commitment to this City, the children and the families within.



Her ability to bring individuals together and continue to put this event together, not for her own benefit, proves her dedication to giving back to our community.


She continues her work by serving on various boards within the City of Meadville. One of which was strategic in helping families affected by COVID, continue to pay rent.


As if her service to our community isn't enough of a reason to stand behind her election to Council, Nancy also brings an experienced work history, along with certifications that can aid the City Council in making the best decisions possible for Meadville.



There are countless hours that go into being on boards and organizing programs that enrich the lives of our citizens. A commitment that often goes unrecognized, or is not appreciated. Nancy emulates the qualities of servant leadership. You may be wondering, what is servant leadership?


A servant-leader focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of people and the communities to which they belong.


Through her work with various boards and organizations, Nancy's sole focus was serving our community and giving back to the residents of Meadville. Her decision to serve others, regardless of party affiliation, social status, financial status, race or gender, evidences her love of our community and the ability to look out for the well being of all, no matter the circumstances.
