Win the world, or should we be saying what the what?!
This is a lovely tagline on the Crawford County United website. They intend to win the world. Remember we talked about this whole concept? Vote for Meadville is part of Crawford County United, which is part of PA United and/or Pittsburgh United. All of which are affiliated with the Movement voter project out of Northampton, MA.
This whole Movement Voter Project, they have a "Progressive decade plan"
Can Democrats beat the odds? Wasn't this all spurred because neither party was suiting their fancy?
From the Crawford County United website;
So, are you with the Democrat party, or not? That's a bit misleading, wouldn't you say?
Let's focus now on what we can decided and influence, shall we? Our local election on November 2 will be the tip of this iceberg. Have you ever seen an iceberg? Maybe in the movie Titanic you recall seeing one. You know how on the surface it looks small and like you could avoid it, but underneath there's generally something bigger that can destroy the whole boat? It's hidden just under the surface, if you look hard enough you might find it. Well folks, Vote for Meadville is the little bit of iceberg on top of the water, CCU, PAU, and MVP are the pieces hiding below the surface.
We're here to warn you, "ICEBERG, STRAIGHT AHEAD!"
By now you should be aware of the VFM candidates, but we'll review:
Jaime Kinder, Gretchen Myers and Jack Harkless
If you've been following our blog, you're also aware that they are part of Crawford County United, who has a whole slate of candidates running for not only City Council (that's those 3 up above), but also they had 4 running for School Board (We say had, 1 did not make it through primaries). Who are these for school board?
We're not going to get into their backgrounds.... yet. For now, we're going to continue to focus on this iceberg.
We take you now to PA United, where we have even more folks being served up to various School Boards and City Councils. There were 26 in fact;
Who are they? We're glad you asked.
Have we got your attention yet?! We sure hope so. All of this, it's part of a campaign called "Our Communities Can't Wait". What's that all about?
The richest 1%? Politicians they pay? Do they have any evidence to support this claim? Let's all stumble now through this last sentence, "together, we can create a government where the people who work the hardest and bear the greatest burden the most are also the ones who write the laws."
Are they insinuating that the "richest 1%" don't work, or didn't work to get where they are? Write laws, what laws are you trying to write here? Hopefully not a revision to freedom of speech..... although they do already try to silence those who don't agree with them.
What the heck is it with these folks and money? They keep referring back to money, and how it divides everyone, and make them pay. The only people dividing anyone here is YOU folks and your iceberg campaign.
We almost forgot to make mention to the newest addition to the CCU campaign. Nerissa Galt. Yes, we're sure she's part of this...
Yes, they call themselves hellbenders.
Now you might be thinking.... you've established the connection from VFM to CCU to PAU. How did you leap over to the Movement Voter Project. That's a fantastic question! We'll tell you how. We followed the money! Yep, you heard that right. The same folks who moan and groan about the richest 1% allegedly paying politicians, have received funding for their campaigns from an outside source. Don't just take our word for it, campaigns have to publicly post donations and expenses. Here's the proof to back it up;
The final piece that connects this back to our area... Elspeth Koehle.
(Remember from up above at the start of this post, Pittsburgh United is also known as PA United.)
In your spare time, go look into some of the other projects and campaigns that are funded by the Movement Voter Project. Who knows, we might start seeing some of those pop up around here too.
We're all on the same ship, and right now there's some that are trying to steer us towards the iceberg. We can take back the ship now and steer clear, or, we can hit the iceberg and starting shoveling out buckets of water trying to save the ship later. WE get to decide this. The choice is ultimately yours as to which way you help this boat steer. Just know the FACTS about what's really below the surface before you decide which way you'd like to go.
